About me
I specialise in strategy and management of digital content propositions for media businesses covering all aspects including budgeting, revenue generation, editorial output, creative leadership, commercial performance, partnership management, talent and team-building, operational and cultural change.
As a consultant, I work with a range of clients across TV, film, digital and the arts. I help them devise and implement strategies to grow their businesses. I work to improve and transform their operations, build talented teams and take advantage of online platforms to find new audiences and income streams.
Previously I’ve been EVP of Digital for Beano Studios where I was responsible for defining the digital strategy to build a global content network for kids. I was director level at Microsoft working for the studio producing interactive TV for Xbox. I spent seven years at Channel 4 in a range of senior roles including managing channel4.com, helping launch 4oD, and latterly business manager for the online commissioning team.
I’ve a professional certificate in executive coaching with Henley Business School and am MBA. I started my career in journalism working for newspapers and then joined the BBC as a news trainee. I was vice chair of BIMA from 2013 to 2016, the trade body for the British digital industry. I’m on the advisory board for a cultural centre of a UNESCO world heritage site.
